I watched Inception!

I actually managed to follow the plot without getting a migraine! I'm so proud of myself.

I thought it was well-made and surprisingly engaging. I'm totally seeing the Arthur/Eames and would like a sequel with just those two, please. What was up with Ellen Page's character, though (I don't even remember her name)? I get that they needed someone to be the "heart" of the team, so to speak, but it felt a little over-the-top that she's both a genius architect AND more wise than anyone else on the team. Not that she was badly played. It's Ellen Page!

Not sure that I felt the family drama very much. Marion Cotillard is always Marion Cotillard, it seems, and she felt a little too glamorous to bring out the tragedy of the role. Or maybe I just automatically get cynical at romantic plots, tragic or not. I didn't feel the ending either: he comes home and his kids are playing in the exact same positions, wearing the exact same clothes, as their dream counterparts? Twist ending? No?

I don't know. It's a little late in the evening for an in-depth analysis.

Arthur was my favorite.
