It was a really great habit, until I completely faltered and failed. But here's to hoping I can get back to it and keep it up! ^_^
Most of my fics become character studies, whether I want them to or not. In fact, they'd all be a LOT shorter if I could just stay out of the characters' heads. But... when that's a large part of the fun, why should I censor myself? ^_^;;
So, I sort of do the oppose of you - want to write plot and put in character studies, whereas you want character studies and have to add plot.... But, you know what? The best thing about reading good fic is seeing HOW characters react to events. And so we're BOTH doing it RIGHT, imho! ^_~
It was pretty bad. When I stand in one place, my back and hips start to hurt like crazy (I'm on my feet all day at work, always have been at every job I've had, but that's moving around a lot). However, after the first five hours I went numb and so the next ten weren't so painful. Still, not anything I want to ever repeat! ^o^;; I hope your evening/night goes a lot better! *hugs* Sorry you have to work.
