What is happening??

My fic! It's morphing into two stories! It's a monster! So I need to connect them, right? And I know the pure logistics of how, but the two stories have completely different tones! Gah!
Besides, I hate my prose. It feels clunky and pedestrian.

Bob struck again last night! I'm too tired to talk about it, but I will later! Christmas is killing us all!

Don't give up!!! *pumps fist* God, that's (a little) like me reaching the 23,000 words point on what was supposed to be a "short" "one-shot" and realizing that I was gonna need to break it up. =.=;;

.... Okay, it's not a LOT like that. But it is a fic rising up and being willful. And getting larger than planned, so it's kinda like that.... ^_~

Anyhow, don't hate! Keep writing!! (God, I need to take my own advice. Today, hopefully?)

Retail in Xmas....... Oh, you have my sympathy!!! *sends lotsa hugs* I'll be writing fic and trying to draw fanart (which might be a miserable failure), so at least you'll hopefully have some distractions. ^.^;;

Fics - they're like weeds!

Work's pretty harsh, lately, but I'm fine with it as long as I'm not on a register and the closing manager doesn't want me to re-arrange an aisle a half hour before closing time when there are two and a half hours' work left to be done in one and a half hour's time. *fumes*

It's so true. And yet I'm so irritated with myself. Because now that it's not NaNo, I'm having sooooooo much trouble getting in a decent daily word count! ^o^;; And with all the stories I wanna tell, I really need to get on that!

Yeah, that sounds like typical managerial direction. =.=;; The worst ones, I swear, are the ones who never had to do the jobs they're directing people to do. And yet even some of the ones who used to do that work seem completely incompetent!

I'm willing to bet that your daily word count is bigger than mine! Though I have no clue what mine is. Maybe give yourself another carrot?

Dahahaha. *hangs head in shame* My daily count has been ZERO for the last two days..... *wince* Well. I've been in a foul mood for no good reason, and my gal has been the same, only for her it's PMS and her father being a dick, so she at least has good reasons. ^.^;; Hoping to break out of this grump - I hoped to yesterday and failed, so maybe today! *crosses fingers*

I use Excel to keep track of my word count - before I got my new laptop with Excel, I had no idea what my daily count was. ^.^

My carrot could be..... *cough* AU stepbrother slash! *cough* The idea is in my head and won't let me go! But first I need to finish my current WIP. And possibly the last piece of "Bluebells". But writing myself stepbrother AU with Eames and Arthur for Xmas would go a long way toward lightening my mood! ^_~

Actually, to be honest, I'm going to try to write the AU stepbrother slash fic longhand, while I'm AFK. But I won't type it in until one of my other WIPs is done! ^_^
