Well.... speaking from personal experience..... if you leave it alone and come back to it later, there's a 50/50 percent chance that you'll think it's all right. I thought that the first part of the"Bluebells" follow-up was absolute SHITE, and when I came back to it later.... Well, it wasn't my best work, by a long shot, but it wan't "burn it in a fire" bad, like I was thinking. ^.^;;

I think I'm just being moody. At least I hope so. I mean, there are a hundred different ways to write a fic, right, and, it seems, a hundred different ways to READ a fic, as well. I liked it alright a couple days ago, but now my style just feels too...sparse and dispassionate and dull. I don't know. I'm so confused. I'd leave it and come back to it, but I would feel restless about not having worked on it.
I think I'm going to try to solve the problem with cheesecake. Thanks for the pep talk! *hugs*
