You get insects in your piggies' cage?? I had a guinea pig when I was little, but that never happened. Is it a Singapore thing?

Urgh, it's all my fault. Once we had an infestation of insects that showed up in the hay that we bought? And spent ages just trying to figure out how to kill them. They are tiny and robust though, but don't show up so long as I clean the cage every week and spot-clean every day. I've been sick the past three weeks though, and if I don't do it no-one does, so boom. Insects. I've not had them for more than a year, so it's really irritating to have them back again.
